5 FACTS OF THE DAY EPI-5

HEY GUYS!!! TODAY'S POST IS ABOUT 5 FACTS OF THE DAY.... SO HERE IT IS...

1. What is the day that has the most birthdays?

The second least popular birthday falls on Christmas, December 25th, followed by January 1st. Babies delivered on the most common day of the year, September 16, were likely conceived on December 24th, which ranked as the fourth least common birthday.

2. Can dogs see in color or just black and white?

Veterinarians used to believe that dogs saw only in black and white, but recent studies suggest that they actually do have some color vision—but it's not as bright as a human's.

3. Are peanuts a nut?

Peanut Facts. While “nut” is in their name, peanuts are in fact legumes. Peanuts actually grow underground, as opposed to nuts like walnuts, almonds, etc. that grow on trees (and are sometimes referred to as "tree nuts"). Peanuts, along with beans and peas, belong to the single plant family, Leguminosae.

4. What kind of tree does paper come from?

Wood pulp comes from softwood trees such as spruce, pine, fir, larch and hemlock, and hardwoods such as eucalyptus, aspen and birch. A pulp mill is a manufacturing facility that converts wood chips or other plant fibre source into a thick fibre board which can be shipped to a paper mill for further processing.

5. Is the earth's rotation slowing down?

The planet's rotation is slowing down overall because of tidal forces between Earth and the moon. Roughly every 100 years, the day gets about 1.4 milliseconds, or 1.4 thousandths of a second, longer.

BYEE EVERYONE. I MEET YOU AT 1:00 P.M. IN ANOTHER POST.
